Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
• Assign duties and monitor performance to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Inspect guest areas, restrooms, offices, dining outlets, and back-of-house facilities.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed.
• Train, coach, and develop housekeeping associates.
• Manage schedules, attendance, and staff deployment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and linen inventory.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the Engineering team.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain records, reports, and cleaning checklists.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special event preparation.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in hospitality, leisure, entertainment, or a similar environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning methods, and safety standards is required.
• Experience leading and motivating multicultural teams is required.
• Good communication skills in English are required.
• Basic computer knowledge for reporting and scheduling is required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
