Cleaning and Presentation
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation of bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, and ancillary spaces.
- Perform regular deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled.
Laundry and Linen Management
- Manage laundry operations for garments, bed linen, and soft furnishings.
- Use correct cleaning, sorting, pressing, and folding methods and care for delicate or specialist textiles appropriately.
Room Preparation
- Prepare and maintain guest rooms and en suites to household standards.
- Make beds, provide turndown service, replenish amenities, and check room readiness before arrivals.
Stock Control
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and amenities, report inventory levels, and assist with ordering to support uninterrupted service.
Property and Valuables
- Handle household items, artwork, and valuables with care and discretion.
- Report any damage or loss immediately to the Head of Household or Property Manager.
Health, Safety, and Hygiene
- Follow health and safety, infection control, and safe handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness records and follow guidance on chemical use and storage.
Teamwork and Flexibility
- Communicate effectively and discreetly with household staff and management.
- Support colleagues during events or busy periods and work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel with the household when required.
Requirements
- Ability to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation across bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, and ancillary spaces.
- Ability to handle garments, bed linen, soft furnishings, and delicate or specialist textiles using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Ability to follow health, safety, infection control, chemical handling, and storage procedures.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel with the household when required.
- Ability to communicate discreetly with household staff and management and support colleagues during busy periods or events.
