- Lead the day to day hotel operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional and consistent guest experiences across all touchpoints.
- Drive operational strategy in alignment with the hotel’s business objectives, with a strong focus on service excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Execute strategic initiatives in collaboration with the General Manager and key stakeholders, providing structured feedback and operational insights.
- Ensure strong performance across all operational departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa & Wellness, and Residences.
- Partner closely with the Director of Residences to maximise integration and alignment between hotel and branded residences operations.
- Develop and mentor department heads and emerging leaders, using structured performance management tools to drive accountability and growth.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including ownership, corporate teams, and local partners.
- Drive the hotel’s positioning within the Dubai market through strong awareness of competitors, guest trends, and evolving luxury expectations.
- Support community engagement initiatives and represent the hotel within the local business and hospitality community.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or Director of Operations within a luxury or ultra luxury hotel environment
- Strong understanding of the Dubai or regional Middle East hospitality market is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multicultural teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Solid commercial awareness, with the ability to balance operational excellence with financial performance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Highly organised, adaptable, and detail oriented, with a hands on leadership style
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service aligned with Mandarin Oriental’s brand values

- Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Executive Office in Dubai, the Hotel Manager is responsible to oversee the operations of the hotel and provide professional advisory and executive support to the General Manager.
As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
