Role Summary

Guest Reception and Service

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Escort guests to tables, manage the waiting list, and provide accurate wait-time updates.
• Anticipate guest needs, offer assistance, and provide personalized recommendations.
• Monitor dining room layout, seating capacity, and table availability to optimize table turnover.
• Coordinate with servers, bussers, and management for prompt seating, smooth traffic flow, and efficient table clearing and resetting.

Events and Operations

• Assist with private dining, special events, and VIP guest arrangements.
• Communicate special requirements to relevant staff and prepare guest welcome arrangements when needed.
• Maintain records of reservations, cancellations, and guest feedback.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and monitor supplies at the host station.
• Maintain communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Support colleagues during peak hours, train new host staff, and contribute to a cooperative team environment.

• Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards and represent the company's hospitality culture positively.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and quality standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service, hostess, or front-of-house experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
