Role Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the restaurant’s overall success, with emphasis on financial performance, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences.
The role translates strategic initiatives into action while maintaining profitability, service quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the restaurant’s full financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, labor costs, food and beverage costs, and revenue growth.
- Lead daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, service quality, food quality, ambiance, and guest satisfaction.
- Execute strategic projects and collaborate on marketing campaigns, events, and business development initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, staff development, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, and local health and safety regulations through regular audits.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager in fine dining environments with a strong background in Mediterranean or Spanish restaurant concepts.
- Experience in standalone restaurants, luxury hotels, or high-end hospitality groups.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent understanding of luxury guest service standards, operational excellence, and compliance.
