Role Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the restaurant’s overall success, with emphasis on financial performance, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences.
The role translates strategic initiatives into action, supports profitability and service standards, and aligns department heads around goals and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage budgets, forecasts, reports, sales, labor costs, operational KPIs, waste, workflow, and profitability.
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, cost management, service quality, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Execute strategic projects and collaborate with internal teams on marketing campaigns, events, and business development initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, staff development, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, and local health and safety regulations through regular audits.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in beach club operations and a strong track record in pre-opening projects, ideally in Dubai or another high-growth, competitive market.
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance analysis.
- Deep knowledge of health, safety, and food regulations with a commitment to compliance.
- Proficiency in restaurant systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and teamwork skills focused on staff development and cross-department collaboration.
