Position Summary
The Hostess role focuses on creating memorable and unique dining experiences for guests.
Guest Service Experts provide hands-on service across guest interaction, table setting, kitchen communication, and work-area maintenance.
Guest Service Duties
- Set tables and prepare guest areas for service.
- Communicate with the kitchen and interact with and serve guests.
- Clean work areas and maintain supplies.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
Physical Requirements
- The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- The role requires reading and visually verifying menu information.
- The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- The role requires reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- Less than one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is required.
