Role Description
The Host or Hostess is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The position welcomes guests and manages the flow of reservations and walk-ins.
The role supports professional service standards, guest satisfaction, and an organized reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and manage reservations and walk-ins.
- Coordinate seating with the service team.
- Respond to phone and in-person inquiries.
- Provide accurate information about the venue and its offerings.
- Ensure guests are seated efficiently and comfortably.
- Support guest feedback and special requests.
- Maintain an organized reception area.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Experience handling reservations and seating plans in a restaurant, lounge, or similar hospitality environment.
- Clear and confident communication in person and by phone, with good phone etiquette.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and time management.
- Prior hospitality or front-of-house experience; upscale or fine-dining experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Professional appearance and commitment to consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
