Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm welcome and professional farewell
- Manage reservations via OpenTable and maintain booking system updates
- Answer incoming calls using correct telephone etiquette and relay messages
- Assist in maximizing table occupancy and filtering clientele
- Perform cashiering duties, balance cash and credit card charges, and remit to back office
- Inform team of special attention guests and ensure regular guests are recognized
- Attend briefings, tastings, and training to fully understand menu items
- Follow opening and closing checklists and flex roles during service
Requirements
- Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain positive guest interactions
- Greet and seat guests, manage reservations and table occupancy
- Handle phone calls and provide accurate information on restaurant and hotel offerings
- Perform cashiering duties including Micros cashiering and balancing charges
- Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
- Attend briefings, tastings, and training to understand menu items

- Monitor and trace confirmations by phone or email
- Ensure credit card details are taken and handled correctly
- Attend briefings, tastings, and core training
- Understand flow of service and flex roles as required
- Follow opening and closing checklists
- Perform cashiering functions and balance charges
- Check bookings on OpenTable and print booking sheet
