- Provide face to face Science support to students individually and in small groups
- Support students in developing scientific inquiry skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical reasoning
- Reinforce teacher instruction and clarify scientific concepts when required
- Guide students through assignments, projects, laboratory based learning activities, and assessment preparation
- Monitor and record student attendance daily
- Track student engagement and assignment completion
- Identify students who may be falling behind and implement timely interventions
- Follow up with students regarding missing work and deadlines
- Support students in setting goals and taking ownership of their learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage active participation
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding attendance, engagement, and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Science Education, Secondary Education with specialization in General Science
- Valid teaching qualification recognized in the UAE
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or supporting students in General Science at a high school level
- Strong knowledge of High School Science curriculum and scientific practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students individually and in small groups
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and school leadership
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with educational learning platforms, technology enhanced instruction and Microsoft Office applications

Position Overview
- The High School Science Learning Coach provides face to face academic support and guidance to students attending the iCademy Learning Hub.
- Working closely with students individually and in small groups, the Learning Coach supports student understanding, engagement, organization, and progress in Science.
- The role focuses on helping students access the curriculum, strengthen scientific understanding, develop inquiry and critical thinking skills, and achieve academic success while promoting independence, accountability, and confidence.
- The Learning Coach does not replace the classroom teacher and is not responsible for delivering the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide face to face Science support to students individually and in small groups.

Role Requirements
