About the Role

- Provide face to face Mathematics support to students individually and in small groups.
- Support students in developing mathematical reasoning, problem solving, analytical thinking, and computational fluency.
- Reinforce teacher instruction and clarify mathematical concepts when required.
- Guide students through assignments, projects, assessments, and examination preparation.
- Monitor and record student attendance daily.
- Track student engagement and assignment completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Education with specialization in Mathematics.
- Valid teaching qualification / license recognized in the UAE.
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching, mentoring, tutoring or supporting students in Mathematics at the high school level.
- Strong knowledge of High School Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with educational learning platforms, technology enhanced instruction and Microsoft Office applications.

Position Overview
- The High School Math Learning Coach provides face to face academic support and guidance to students attending the iCademy Learning Hub.
- The role focuses on helping students access the curriculum, strengthen mathematical understanding, develop problem solving skills, and achieve academic success.
- The Learning Coach does not replace the classroom teacher and is not responsible for delivering the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide face to face Mathematics support to students individually and in small groups.
- Support students in developing mathematical reasoning, problem solving, analytical thinking, and computational fluency.
- Reinforce teacher instruction and clarify mathematical concepts when required.
- Guide students through assignments, projects, assessments, and examination preparation.
- Monitor and record student attendance daily.
- Track student engagement and assignment completion.
- Identify students who may be falling behind and implement timely interventions.
- Build positive relationships with students.
- Differentiate support according to student needs and ability levels.
- Assist students in managing their workload and deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding attendance, engagement, and progress.
- Adhere to iCademy policies and procedures.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Education with specialization in Mathematics.
- Valid teaching qualification / license recognized in the UAE.
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching, mentoring, tutoring or supporting students in Mathematics at the high school level.
- Strong knowledge of High School Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with students individually and in small groups.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and school leadership.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with educational learning platforms, technology enhanced instruction and Microsoft Office applications.
