- Provide face to face Mathematics support to students individually and in small groups
- Support students in developing mathematical reasoning, problem solving, analytical thinking, and computational fluency
- Reinforce teacher instruction and clarify mathematical concepts when required
- Guide students through assignments, projects, assessments, and examination preparation
- Encourage students to seek support and become confident, independent learners
- Monitor and record student attendance daily
- Track student engagement and assignment completion
- Identify students falling behind and implement timely interventions
- Follow up with students regarding missing work and deadlines
- Support students in setting goals and taking ownership of their learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage active participation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Education with specialization in Mathematics
- Valid teaching qualification recognized in the UAE
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching, mentoring, tutoring or supporting students in Mathematics at high school level
- Strong knowledge of High School Mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students individually and in small groups
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and school leadership
- Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive environment
- Adaptability and problem solving skills to support diverse learning needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with educational learning platforms, technology enhanced instruction and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools

Position Overview
- The High School Math Learning Coach provides face to face academic support and guidance to students at the iCademy Learning Hub.
- Works with students individually and in small groups to support understanding, engagement, organization, and progress in Mathematics.
- Focuses on helping students access curriculum, strengthen mathematical understanding, develop problem solving skills, and achieve academic success.
- The Learning Coach does not replace the classroom teacher and is not responsible for delivering the curriculum.

Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Education with specialization in Mathematics.
