- Lead team and planning meetings to ensure the team is well informed, organised and successful
- Ensure learning opportunities for children are innovative, purposeful and challenging across all curriculum areas
- Promote pastoral care and well being of children within the year group
- Line manage a team of teachers and teaching assistants to ensure successful performance against UAE Professional Teacher Standards
- Contribute to school's Monitoring, Evaluating and Reporting processes and quality assure provision within the year group
- Teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum
- Plan, prepare and present lessons catering for the whole ability range
- Provide support and interventions for students with EAL or additional learning needs
- Use data from assessments to influence further planning and interventions
- Provide regular feedback to parents and carers on student progress
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Education or Bachelor degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the English National Curriculum
- Leadership experience desirable
- Teaching across the age ability range with proven success
- Passion for education, teaching, and a belief in the potential of every student
- Ability to work under pressure, problem solve and be resilient
- Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)

Job Description
- Aldar Academies are currently seeking an outstanding Teacher Primary with responsibility for Head of Year for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing August 2026.
- Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum, mixed gender school located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
