Responsibilities
- Serve as primary finance business partner to business unit heads, providing independent challenge, strategic insight, and clear financial direction
- Lead group wide annual budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes
- Drive monthly performance reviews with senior leadership, translating financial data into narratives
- Develop and maintain profitability frameworks at product, customer, and segment level
- Build and enhance management reporting capabilities including KPI dashboards, Board packs, and Executive Committee reporting
- Evaluate new business initiatives, investment proposals, and strategic opportunities through financial and risk adjusted return lens
- Support CFO on investor relations activities, strategic planning cycles, and finance transformation initiatives
- Lead, develop, and build a high performing FP&A and Business Finance team
Requirements
- 10–12 years of experience in banking or financial services
- At least 8 years in FP&A, Business Finance, or Performance Management
- Minimum 4–5 years in a senior leadership role with direct exposure to Executive Management and Board level stakeholders
- Strong command of banking financials including product profitability, funds transfer pricing, cost allocation, and return metrics (ROE, RORWA, ROA)
- Proven track record in financial modelling, scenario planning, and strategic forecasting
- Experience supporting Board Committees, Investor Relations, and Executive reporting cycles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial planning systems; PowerPoint at executive standard
- Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent; MBA is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance business partner to business unit heads across the group, providing independent challenge, strategic insight, and clear financial direction
- Lead the group wide annual budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes, building a disciplined and agile planning framework aligned to strategic priorities
- Drive monthly performance reviews with senior leadership, translating financial data into clear narratives around performance drivers, emerging risks, and growth opportunities
- Develop and maintain profitability frameworks at product, customer, and segment level to support pricing decisions, portfolio optimisation, and resource allocation
- Build and enhance management reporting capabilities KPI dashboards, Board packs, Executive Committee reporting ensuring insight lands clearly and on time
- Evaluate new business initiatives, investment proposals, and strategic opportunities through a financial, capital, and risk adjusted return lens
- Support the CFO on investor relations activities, strategic planning cycles, and broader finance transformation initiatives
- Lead, develop, and build a high performing FP&A and Business Finance team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and commercial partnership
Requirements
- 10–12 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 8 years in FP&A, Business Finance, or a Performance Management capacity
