Role Overview
- Head of Event Marketing reporting to Portfolio Marketing Director, managing a diverse team based in Riyadh.
- Seeking a highly motivated, dynamic marketing leader with a track record of commercial collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Leadership
- Recommend team structures and delivery solutions based on requirements.
- Line manage senior marketers and specialists working across a range of events.
- Provide guidance, feedback and inspiration to line reports.
- Champion adoption and optimisation of marketing technology solutions and digital marketing.
- Ensure line reports have clear development roadmaps and are competent managers.
Key Responsibilities Analysis & Insight
- Monitor campaign performance by supervising production of relevant and timely reports.
- Share insights with sales, event team and senior management to drive revenues.
- Analyse and report trends over time to build more effective campaigns.
- Ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to.
- Build a culture of testing and metrics driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities Planning & Campaign Management
- Work with marketing managers to plan product marketing campaigns for exhibitions and virtual/hybrid events.
- Monitor operational implementation plans and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Assist with development of marketing budgets and ensure budget trackers are kept up to date.
- Recommend external suppliers and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
- Agree paid media requirements and guide negotiation of media buying.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Execution
- Identify target universe and key segments within target universe.
- Guide team in developing personas, value propositions and messaging for key segments.
- Ensure timely, relevant communications through full mix of channels.
- Monitor and recommend adjustments to digital marketing activity based on performance metrics.
- Oversee design and production of all marketing collateral.
Qualifications
- Experienced events marketer and people leader from a strong exhibitions background.
- Educated to degree level.
- Skilled marketing strategist who can drive creativity and enthusiasm.
- Analytical and data oriented with history of testing and optimisation.
- Extensive experience in digital marketing and marketing technology.
- Exceptional organizational skills with track record of meeting deadlines.
