Role Overview

  • The Head of Business Services leads and manages the functions in KSA that enable and protect the business: Business Management and Government Relations.
  • The role also owns relationships with a number of outsourced functions.
  • Reports to the GM CTRD Arabia.

Role Responsibilities

  • Accountable for delivery of business support functions in the CMO, providing leadership and overarching management to functional teams.
  • Responsible for driving and overseeing development of policies and processes that enhance effectiveness and efficiency in Business Services functional areas.
  • Accountable for ensuring quality of business services is of the highest standard and continuously seeking ways to improve them.
  • Accountable for reporting, monitoring and control of business support functions.
  • Accountable for crisis management frameworks and processes, as well as business resilience and delivery of responses to incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with KSA laws, implementing regulations, royal decrees and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Prepare for and lead company response to compliance audits and rectification requirements.
  • Responsible for oversight of Security & Risk Management, Resilience Management and Health & Safety in KSA for CTRD Arabia.
  • Maintain authoritative and current expertise of the KSA Nitaqat (Saudisation) program.
  • Responsible for ensuring continual monitoring of changes to local laws, regulations and policies and updating company policies.
  • Build a high performance team, foster collaboration, and develop cross functional integration.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant business management experience, including KSA.
  • Business management Bachelor's degree.
  • Financial management.
  • Compliance controls, audit readiness, regulatory documentation.
  • Commercial project management experience.
  • Policy formulation and development.
  • Process analysis and development.
  • Thorough knowledge of KSA business operating environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

  • Senior stakeholder / relationship management.
  • Conversational Arabic.

Hours and Contract

  • Hours of Work: 40 per week.
  • Contract Type: Fixed term contract for one year, renewable subject to business requirements and in accordance with Saudi Labour Law.
