About the Role

- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high performance.
- Maintain strict control over food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and food cost control while minimizing waste.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Oversee kitchen scheduling and manpower planning.
- Collaborate with management on menu development, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
- Address and resolve food quality concerns and customer feedback promptly.
Requirements
- Currently based in the UAE
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef OR 4 years as a Sous Chef in a seafood focused restaurant concept
- Strong expertise in fish and seafood preparation, cooking techniques, sourcing, and menu development
- Experience in Mediterranean seafood cuisine is highly preferred
- Previous experience working in the UAE with a good understanding of local regulations and standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to implement and maintain kitchen SOPs, standards, and checklist systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
