Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce high quality handcrafted chocolate products.
- Perform chocolate tempering, molding, enrobing, and decorative work to the highest standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and product quality.
- Assist in developing new chocolate creations and seasonal collections.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of chocolate and ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation.
- Work closely with the pastry team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all BAKERIST recipes, quality standards, and HACCP procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Chocolate Chef or CDP specializing in chocolate.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, enrobing, and decoration techniques.
- Experience in producing pralines, bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars, and decorative chocolate pieces.
- Passion for precision, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Good English communication skills.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
