Position Title: Hardware Designer (DST)

Educational qualification:

BE in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Industrial engineering with 5 to 8 Yrs of relevant Exp in Design & Drafting

Primary Responsibilities:

Recommend engineering solutions for simple to medium complex “Problem reports”

Create CAD assemblies & BOM for design changes / modifications

Work on implementing multiple engineering changes through Change orders

Collaborate with product development engineers in implementing concept design and simple design changes

Create/review drawings for complex sheetmetal & machined parts, welded structures & complex assemblies.

Create assembly/test procedures, rework instructions etc..

Mandatory Skills Required to Perform the Job:

Proficient in 3D CAD modelling & assembly management using Creo or Nx & Team center

Proficient in BoM management using PLM softwares

Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process, SAP, PLM etc..

Good knowledge of engineering/design methods & processes

Experience in various fabrication methods (Sheetmetal & Machining)
