Role Overview
Provide courteous telephone and guest support in accordance with hotel standards.
Handle guest requirements, questions, calls, messages, and hotel service information.
Telephone and Guest Services
- Answer incoming calls promptly using company telephone etiquette.
- Direct calls while protecting guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Place outgoing calls and maintain records of calls and toll charges.
- Take and deliver guest messages and perform wake-up call services.
- Handle emergency calls, paging services, and conference calls when required.
- Calculate and quote charges for long-distance and other telephone services.
Records and Coordination
- Record chargeable calls and post them to guest invoices if the electronic system is unavailable.
- Report telephone defects and complete administrative work related to technical faults.
- Update reservation and directory information.
- Coordinate with reception, housekeeping, restaurants, banqueting, kitchen, and sales departments.
- Perform filing, recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks while maintaining clean work areas.
