- Fulfil experience over a 2 year period in assigned areas and demonstrate knowledge and experience suitable for Engineer role
- Carry out a programme of training as agreed with the Air Arabia Training Manager and/ or Line Manager
- Utilize data gathered from different sources to conduct, under supervision, technical root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Analyze data and technical performance reports, under supervision, to identify trends, highlight findings and suggest solutions
- Review technical document, under supervision, for implementation of modifications/repairs
- Assist in the closure of occurrence reports under supervision
Requirements
- A degree in Aircraft Engineering/ Electro Mechanical/Aeronautical or equivalent (LAE); alternately a higher diploma or certificate in the related field from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience and exposure
- Capable of using technology systems & tools; proficient in Microsoft office, MRO systems and Web Search
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Very good in English Language
- 2 5 years in a university with a specialisation in Aviation

Job Purpose
- Fulfil experience over a 2 year period in assigned areas and demonstrate knowledge and experience suitable for Engineer role.
- To encompass multiple areas of learning to include AMP, Systems, Reliability, Warranty, Propulsion, APU, short/long term maintenance, Technical Records, Technical Library, logistics, rotable management and special projects
- The individual will learn how to evaluate and manage AD’s and SB and how to translate this knowledge into business control measures for the airline.
Key Result Responsibilities Fleet Technical Management
- On day to day basis to support the engineering development engineers or other CAMO staff in providing support to maintenance
- Carries out a programme of training as agreed with the Air Arabia Training Manager and/ or Line Manager
- Utilizes data gathered from different sources to conduct, under supervision, technical root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Analyzes data and technical performance reports, under supervision, to identify trends, highlight findings and suggest solutions
- Identifies corrective measures and modifications, under supervision, to fix any damages or airworthiness findings
- Reviews technical document, under supervision, as per TPM section 5, for implementation of modifications/repairs
- Carries out training with other areas of the CAMO engineering environment such as Projects, Warranty, etc.
- Assists in the closure of occurrence reports under supervision
- Participates in function related meetings/conferences and events both internally and externally
- Continues to engage in personal development undertaking such trainings as deemed required by the Training Manager and or Line Manager
Key Result Responsibilities Maintenance
- Reviews assigned maintenance work with the Shift Manager to gain full understanding of tasks
- Under guidance, Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards
- Under guidance, carries out aircraft test and inspection tasks to the standard necessary to fully identify and record any defects or damage
- Under guidance, performs defect troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
- Manages communications with other Engineers and Technicians related to the assigned tasks
- Ensures that maintenance tasks are carried out whenever possible within the planned ground time to avoid operational delay
- Manages the safety of assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring all published mandatory precautions are taken
- Takes positive steps to protect self and other persons in the area of the maintenance activity from any possible injury
- Manages human factors aspects of maintenance, ensuring continuity of critical maintenance tasks
- Provides positive support to other operational teams in ABY
- Presents a positive and competent image of technical professionalism
- Maintains positive awareness to the cost of aircraft maintenance
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- A degree in Aircraft Engineering/ Electro Mechanical/Aeronautical or equivalent (LAE); alternately a higher diploma or certificate in the related field from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience and exposure
- Capable of using technology systems & tools; proficient in Microsoft office, MRO systems and Web Search
- Very good written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.
- Very good in English Language
