AECOM seeks a graduate Data Scientist to support quantity surveying and cost management teams in the Dubai office.
The role uses digital tools, data analysis, and automation to improve construction project efficiency and decision-making.
The position is part of a 24-month Advance graduate program with structured learning and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Support digital workflows for quantity surveying and cost management teams.
- Improve cost planning, cost control, and value engineering through digital platforms.
- Maintain project databases and produce reports and dashboards.
- Analyze project data and develop templates, workflows, and automation scripts.
- Provide training and technical support on digital tools and recommend emerging technologies.
Requirements
- UAE national with a family book.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Bachelor’s degree graduation must be in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
- Advanced Python, SQL, data visualization, and relevant software skills are required.
- Knowledge of construction digital tools such as BIM software, CostX, or similar platforms is required.
- Programming and automation experience with Dynamo, Python, VBA, or similar scripting languages is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, organization, and time-management skills are required.
Workplace and onboarding
- The role is based in AECOM’s Dubai, UAE office.
- New hires must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
