- Define and execute the global design strategy aligned with the company's vision, objectives, and brand identity
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary design teams across multiple regions and business functions
- Establish and maintain design standards, systems, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Technology, and Commercial teams to deliver high quality design solutions
- Drive innovation across user experience (UX), user interface (UI), brand design, motion graphics, and creative communications
- Champion a design first culture by promoting creativity, collaboration, and customer centric thinking throughout the organization
- Oversee the end to end creative process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards
- Use customer insights, market trends, and performance metrics to inform design decisions and continuous improvement
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners when required
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and design innovations to keep the organization at the forefront of creative excellence
Requirements
- 15+ years in design with at least 6 years leading a design function at senior level
- Hands on enough to execute and make decisions at component level
- Has built a design system that a team executes from — typography, color systems, component libraries, templates
- Has managed and developed senior creative talent
- Experience working across multi market, multi language creative environments
- Background in media and advertising agencies is recommended; other experience in fintech, healthcare, or premium consumer brands is preferred but not required
