About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) is seeking a UAE National General Superintendent - Security to monitor and implement security control and protection plans across plant operations. The role requires supervising security operations, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Responsibilities
- Implement approved departmental policies, systems, processes, and procedures for Security
- Supervise day to day operations of the Security department
- Supervise incident investigation process and report security incidents
- Plan, organize and conduct security training courses
- Control and coordinate maintenance and testing of security protection systems
- Develop and initiate routine evaluations of the workplace for security compliance
- Comply with safety, quality and environmental policies
- Supervise activities and work of subordinates
Requirements
- UAE Nationals only
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, or at least 10 years of relevant experience
- 4 6 years relevant experience in EHSFS in a similar manufacturing industry including at least 2 years in managerial roles
- Preferably bilingual (Arabic and English)
- Certified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) preferred
- Knowledgeable in ISPS Code
- Knowledgeable in Physical Information Security
- Knowledgeable in Electronic Security Access Control System, CCTV, burglar alarm, intrusion detection & fire systems
- Proficiency in SAP applications
- Proficiency in computer

Job Purpose
- To monitor and assist in the effective implementation of EGA’s corporate Security control/protection strategic plans, policies and programs across assigned plant operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Implements approved departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls.
- Supervises the implementation of day to day operations for the Security department.
- Supervises the effective implementation of the incident investigation process.
- Plan, organise and conduct a wide range of Security training courses.
- Control and coordinate all maintenance and testing of Security protection systems.
- Develop and initiate routine evaluations of the workplace.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies.
- Supervises the activities and work of subordinates.
- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/equivalent or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preferably an accreditation or membership to a recognised association.
- 4 6 years relevant experience in EHSFS in a similar manufacturing industry including at least 2 years in managerial roles.
- Preferably bilingual (Arabic and English).
- Certified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO).
- Knowledgeable in ISPS Code.
- Knowledgeable in Physical Information Security.
- Knowledgeable in Electronic Security Access Control System, CCTV Security System, burglar alarm system, intrusion detection system & fire system.
- Experience in administering a department preferably working with a multi national team.
- Proficiency in SAP applications.
- Proficiency in computer.

- Thinking within clearly defined policies, standards and specific objectives.
- Direction of work is subject to practices and procedures, output is managed.
