Job Title
- General Merchandiser
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; a vocational certificate or college education is an advantage.
Experience
- At least 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, FMCG, or food distribution.
- Experience handling supermarkets, grocery stores, or convenience stores is preferred.
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and product display techniques.
Knowledge
- Basic understanding of food products and inventory management.
- Familiarity with FIFO and product expiration monitoring.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, stock rotation, and shelf management.
- Basic mathematics for stock counting and reporting.
Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and mobile reporting applications).
- Ability to prepare accurate merchandising and stock reports.
Personal Attributes

- Physically fit and able to lift and move product cartons when required.
