About the Role
Sundus is seeking a General Ledger / Finance Operation professional for a Defence & Aerospace client in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing external/internal audits, monthly reporting, month-end closing, fixed asset register, cost control, VAT/income tax reporting, and intercompany reconciliation.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for external/internal auditing and auditors requests; first point of contact for audit process
- Responsible for internal monthly reporting
- Lead month end closing for all operational entities in line with group reporting timetable
- Ensure timely capture of all costs through accruals where necessary
- Manage and maintain fixed asset register, including tracking of work in progress and project completion for software development
- Propose cost control measures where appropriate
- Coordinate with all stakeholders
- Responsible for taxes reporting VAT/Income tax and tax returns
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of assets and liabilities through preparation of overhead analytics schedules for all accounts on a monthly basis
- Intercompany reconciliation and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 8 years of experience in finance operations or general ledger
- Experience in external/internal auditing
- Proficiency in English

Job Description
