Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up to date accounting records and financial transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and post journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month end closing activities
- Monitor project related expenses and ensure proper allocation of costs
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Process supplier payments and ensure timely collection of receivables
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and reports
- Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements where necessary
- Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and management regarding financial matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical General Accountant to oversee the company’s day to day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
