A prestigious institution is looking for a Gallery and Exhibition Project Manager
based in the UAE.
Scope of Work-
General
- Experience of working in a gallery or public facing environment
- Ability to work as a part of a small team
- Experience and understanding of organising events
- Preparation of condition reports
- Management of gallery space
Exhibition Management
- Updating exhibition layouts in SketchUp
- Responsible for install, maintenance and dismantle of exhibition
- Preparation of budgets
Special Projects
- Coordinate special projects as a project manager for all events organised by the institution.
- Preparation of checklists and documentation for projects.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders
- Onsite support for the institution
Essential Qualifications
- Masters in Art History
- Ability to travel the region independently
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a gallery or public institution
- Ability to be detail oriented and multi task with exceptional organisational skills
- Good knowledge of SketchUp, excel and Microsoft office suite
