Responsibilities
- Assist the Resort Culinary Director to lead, manage and organize all culinary requirements to the highest standards
- Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in areas under jurisdiction
- Ensure adequate stocks of working materials
- Coordinate inter department activities
- Train and motivate staff to perform to highest level of service
- Enforce service standard procedures by directing, supervising, and motivating staff
- Drive operational excellence across all facets of the culinary business
Requirements
- Experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar senior culinary role in luxury hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory and stock control
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills

About the Role
- As an Executive Sous Chef you will be assisting the resort Culinary Director to lead, manage and organize all requirements to the highest standards in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
- You will ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in the areas under your jurisdiction, adequate stocks of working materials, inter department coordination and training.
- You will also ensure and enforce the set service standard procedures by directing, supervising, and motivating staff to perform to their highest level of service and drive operational excellence across all facets of the culinary business.
