Position Overview
- Front end associates proactively direct customers to open registers and support customers at assisted check outs.
- Process transactions accurately and timely by executing the GET checkout process.
Key Responsibilities
- Using the GET Involved approach, greet each customer, engage them during the transaction, and thank them.
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services and make appropriate suggestions.
- Treat all customers and associates in a sincere, appreciative manner and minimize checkout line time.
- Promote and recommend services such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, Pro Services.
- Follow all Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Follow processes on the front end designed to mitigate shrink and protect assets.

Additional Information
- Reports to Front End Supervisor.
- No travel required.
- Physical requirements: bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, moving items.
- Working conditions: flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; warehouse environment; doors frequently open.
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum years of work experience: 1 to 2 years retail or cash experience an asset.
- Pay range: CAD 18.85 CAD 19.85 per hour.
- AI technology used for screening and assessment of applicants.
