The Fit-Out Foreman supervises and coordinates daily site activities for interior fit-out projects.
The role manages workers and subcontractors and ensures work meets approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.
The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily fit-out and interior works on site.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and workers.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings and project requirements.
- Monitor carpentry, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, painting, partition, and other interior works.
- Allocate tasks to workers and monitor their productivity.
- Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Check completed work quality and ensure defects are rectified.
- Coordinate different trades to prevent delays and conflicts.
- Maintain site safety and ensure workers follow HSE requirements.
- Monitor progress and report issues or delays to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
- Keep the site clean, organized, and safe.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience as a Fit-Out Foreman or in a similar role is required.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing and fit-out works is required.
- Applicants must be able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of carpentry, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, painting, and partition works is required.
- Applicants must be able to supervise workers and subcontractors effectively.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills are required.
- Applicants must be able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE experience in interior fit-out or construction projects is preferred.
- Experience in commercial, retail, residential, or hospitality fit-out projects is advantageous.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
