- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the appropriate tables in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen to coordinate the timing of food delivery
- Assist in setting up dining tables before service
- Monitor tables throughout the meal service, clearing empty plates and utensils, refilling water glasses
- Greet guests warmly upon food delivery
- Respond promptly to any guest inquiries or requests
- Inspect food orders before delivery to ensure accuracy, presentation, and quality standards
- Notify servers or kitchen staff of any discrepancies or issues with food orders
- Assist servers and other front of house staff as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu descriptions, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift trays or carry trays of food and drinks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Food Handling certificate

Job Summary
