Role Overview

  • As Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee all F&B operations at Basiqat Resort by Mantis, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across restaurants, bars, in room dining, banqueting, and events.
  • You will be responsible for delivering consistent service excellence, driving revenue performance, and building a strong service culture aligned with the Mantis ethos.
  • This role requires a hands on leader who thrives in a remote resort environment and understands how to create memorable dining experiences that reflect both place and purpose.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day to day operations across all F&B outlets
  • Ensure consistent service standards, product quality, and guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate closely with Culinary and Front Office teams for seamless service delivery
  • Manage restaurant, bar, in room dining, and banquet operations
  • Champion a culture of outstanding service and personalised guest experiences
  • Handle guest feedback, resolve issues, and ensure rapid service recovery when needed
  • Continuously enhance service delivery through training and operational refinement
  • Ensure all guest touchpoints reflect Mantis brand values
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high performing F&B service team
  • Lead daily briefings, coaching sessions, and performance feedback
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and hospitality excellence
  • Support succession planning and talent development within the department

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Food & Beverage Manager in a resort or upscale hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and drive revenue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
