Job Purpose

  • As a FM Supervisor at UAE Integrated Facility Management based in Abu Dhabi, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating facility management operations to ensure seamless, efficient, and safe functioning.
  • You will lead teams, manage resources, and partner with stakeholders to maintain high standards of service delivery across multiple sites.

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily facility management activities including maintenance, operations, and security to assure optimal building performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset lifecycle.
  • Interpret and apply CAD drawings for proper space and equipment management, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to implement integrated facility management solutions.
  • Utilize building management systems (BMS), HVAC control, and CCTV systems to monitor and enhance facility security and environmental comfort.
  • Implement waste management and energy efficiency initiatives aligned with sustainability goals.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns to enhance satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure accountability by maintaining accurate reports, documenting incidents, and following up on corrective actions.
  • Analyze operational data and feedback to identify improvement opportunities and innovate facility processes.

Qualification

  • Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Facility Management or Energy Management will be advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge is essential, including proficiency in HVAC, BMS, and CCTV systems operation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with CAD for space planning and technical documentation interpretation is required.
  • Competence in preventive maintenance scheduling and integrated FM planning is expected.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary.
  • A commitment to customer service excellence and sustainability practices is important.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience of at least 5 years in facility management or integrated facility management operations is required, with demonstrated success in supervising teams and managing complex sites.
  • Proven skills in problem solving and energy management are highly valued.
  • Fluency in technology and data management tools, including computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), is essential.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, BMS, and security control systems is critical.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities, ensuring accountability and motivating teams.
  • Ability to align operational plans with strategic objectives.
  • Customer focused approach with proven ability to communicate clearly and manage client relationships.
