Job Purpose
The FM Engineer is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of retail facilities.
The role focuses on MEP systems, preventive and corrective maintenance, contractor coordination, technical inspections, documentation, and day-to-day facilities operations.
The position requires strong retail experience and the ability to respond effectively to operational and technical requirements.
Duties And Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of retail facilities.
Supervise and coordinate MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, and other building services.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed as per schedule.
Monitor the performance of FM service providers, contractors, and technicians.
Attend to breakdowns, technical issues, and emergency maintenance requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify maintenance and safety issues.
Ensure all facilities are maintained in accordance with required HSE, quality, and operational standards.
Coordinate with retail tenants, mall management, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Review maintenance reports, work orders, and service records.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with SLA/KPI requirements.
Support energy-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of assets, maintenance activities, inspections, and technical documentation.
