Civil Supervisor

Job Purpose

Roles, Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise daily civil maintenance and repair activities across multiple sites.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and timely completion of planned works.
• Interpret CAD drawings and technical documents for project execution.
• Manage waste management systems for sustainability and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with HVAC, BMS, and CCTV specialists on integrated facility solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and promote accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Engage clients and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Use technology and data tools to track progress, evaluate performance, and improve operations.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• Certifications or training in facility management are considered an asset.
• Knowledge of integrated facility management, HVAC, BMS, and CCTV controls is required.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning, waste management protocols, and CAD drawing interpretation is required.
• Knowledge of energy management technologies and sustainable practices is required.
• Strong communication and the ability to align operations with strategic objectives are required.
• Leadership training or technical team management experience is highly advantageous.

Experience and Skills

• Substantial experience in civil supervision within integrated facility management or a related industry is required.
• Experience in a diverse and fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Experience managing HVAC, BMS, and CCTV systems with civil operations is highly beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, technology, and data-driven decision-making skills are required.
• Experience planning and aligning preventive maintenance schedules is necessary.
• Customer-focused communication with internal and external stakeholders is required.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and adherence to safety standards are expected.
