Job Purpose
Manage the strategic direction of facilities and engineering services and outsourced service providers.
Maintain management systems that support a safe, robust, and high-performing property environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement building operation plans for assigned assets.
- Prepare budgets, administer works, inspect facilities and equipment, and arrange maintenance or reconditioning.
- Coordinate service contract bidding, analyze bids, prepare contract agreements, and approve facility purchases.
- Maintain inventories, property condition records, Aldar PMS, and preventive planned maintenance programs.
- Manage resources, manpower, finances, call-center data, and service improvements.
- Prepare monthly reports, billing sheets, P&L reports, PMS reports, and technical documentation.
Measurable Objectives
- Represent facilities and engineering within the vendor account team.
- Provide market updates on engineering service delivery, products, and services.
- Communicate operating philosophies, technical information, objectives, and expectations to the facility team.
- Develop standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, maintenance programs, and technical documentation.
- Support engineering service providers in meeting changing client expectations.
