Role overview
Conduct fire risk assessments across commercial, industrial, and public-sector environments.
Provide practical recommendations to help clients manage their fire safety responsibilities.
The role is field based in the West Midlands.
Schedule and compensation
- Permanent role working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.
- Salary from £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fire risk assessments in accordance with current legislation, standards, and best-practice guidance.
- Identify and highlight fire safety risks and provide clear recommendations.
- Escalate high-risk concerns where appropriate.
- Produce, review, and quality-check detailed fire risk assessment reports.
Required qualifications and experience
- Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification is required.
- Registration with a recognised professional body such as IFE, IFSM, or FRACS is required.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- At least five years of relevant fire risk assessing experience is required.
- Strong technical knowledge, communication, and customer service skills are expected.
Desirable qualification
- NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate is desirable.
