The Environmental Engineer performs environmental monitoring and compliance work for industrial sources and projects.
The role includes field activities in extreme climatic and physically demanding environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stack emission monitoring and performance testing using USEPA standard methods.
- Perform ambient air quality monitoring with real-time and integrated sampling techniques.
- Carry out indoor air quality assessments to identify workplace exposure risks.
- Conduct groundwater sampling, including collection, preservation, chain-of-custody management, and interpretation of analytical results.
- Prepare environmental compliance reports, environmental monitoring reports, and technical documentation.
- Prepare Construction Environmental Management Plans and Operational Environmental Management Plans in line with project requirements, permit conditions, and industry best practices.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or chemical engineering is required.
- Five to eight years of experience is required.
- A master's degree is preferred.
- Candidates must be medically and physically capable of working safely in extreme climatic and physically demanding environments.
