The Financial Analyst supports the Finance function across reporting, tax compliance, audit management, treasury, and business operations.
The role supports regulatory compliance, month-end close, financial reporting, financial controls, cash flow management, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Support VAT returns, Corporate Tax preparation, regulatory reporting, and UAE E-Invoicing compliance.
- Participate in month-end close and prepare financial reports and management reporting packs.
- Maintain BPC schedules, balance sheet schedules, and related financial reconciliations.
- Monitor unbilled revenue, GRIR balances, and deferred revenue schedules.
- Support internal and external audits, including documentation gathering and issue resolution.
- Assist with treasury, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, Accounts Payable, and payment planning.
- Prepare analysis, management reports, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and business performance reviews.
- Improve finance processes, strengthen controls, and support increasing transaction volumes while maintaining compliance.
Required capabilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, regulatory compliance, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Experience supporting internal and external audit engagements and financial reporting activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions and manage multiple priorities.
Academic qualifications and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualifications are advantageous.
- UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, or related compliance certifications are beneficial.
