Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Facilitate interviews and workshops, align stakeholders, surface risks, and turn ambiguity into clear decisions.
• Clarify problems, scope, value measures, success criteria, options, and recommended paths.
• Map current and future states and assess impacts across people, process, data, technology, and controls.
• Elicit, prioritize, validate, document, and trace requirements using models, stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support solution assessment, testing, UAT, implementation, training, and benefits realization with business and technology partners.
• Define responsible AI requirements covering value, data, oversight, evaluation, privacy, security, and monitoring.
• At senior levels, mentor analysts, provide quality assurance, and shape client solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business analysis planning, elicitation, stakeholder engagement, requirements lifecycle management, strategy and process analysis, solution evaluation, and change support.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, establish trust, remain objective, learn quickly, and focus on client outcomes.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, negotiation, active-listening, critical-thinking, systems-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of predictive or waterfall, agile or iterative, and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Understanding of systems, data, interfaces, integration, security, privacy, testing, implementation, and operational support.
• Proficiency with collaboration, documentation, presentation, modelling, diagramming, requirements or backlog management, and spreadsheet tools.
• Foundational understanding of generative AI and AI-enabled solutions, including responsible use and output validation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certification in business analysis, agile or product delivery, project management, change management, process improvement, data and analytics, or AI governance.
• Experience with modernization, digital transformation, cloud or platform implementation, SaaS, ERP or CRM, data and analytics, automation, or AI-enabled change.
• Experience with BPMN or similar modelling, UML, requirements or backlog tools, prototyping, reporting, or data visualization.
• Experience with procurement, RFI or RFP processes, vendor selection, fit-gap analysis, implementation partners, or third-party providers.
• Working knowledge of change, project or program management, product management, service design, enterprise architecture, or quality assurance.

Compensation

• The starting compensation range is CAD $83,334 to CAD $120,615 across Canada locations.
• Actual compensation depends on work location, experience, technical skills, qualifications, and other factors.
• The position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual or company performance.
