Role Overview

The Associate Credit Analyst supports the evaluation of creditworthiness for clients and other external parties seeking services, solutions, or products on credit.

The role works under the supervision of a senior manager and is suited to early-career candidates developing in finance, credit analysis, risk management, and financial operations.

Credit Analysis and Risk

  • Support reviews of credit applications from prospective and existing customers.
  • Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other information to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure.
  • Support credit risk evaluation and credit limit decisions under established policies.
  • Use credit analysis and scoring methodologies under supervision to support approval recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, credit terms, and governance requirements.
  • Prepare credit analysis reports, risk assessments, and supporting documentation.

Accounts, Billing, and Collections

  • Monitor customer accounts, conduct periodic credit reviews, and support credit limit amendments.
  • Support invoice creation, processing, submission, customer portal uploads, and related documentation.
  • Assist with customer onboarding, including master data creation, maintenance, and document collection.
  • Support collections through follow-ups, invoice query resolution, and payment coordination.
  • Maintain credit, invoicing, and compliance records, including invoice rejection and resubmission requirements.
  • Prepare credit control, collections, and customer account reporting.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve credit, billing, and collections processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other credit analysis, billing, or collections-related duties as required.

  • Understanding of accounts receivable, collections processes, and customer account management.
  • Ability to work with customer portals, invoicing systems, and financial documentation.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Entry-level experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, collections, finance operations, or a related finance role is preferred.
  • Experience with financial systems, accounting software, or ERP platforms is advantageous.
  • Exposure to invoicing, customer onboarding, collections, or credit control is beneficial.
  • Basic experience with corporate customers in professional services, technology, or multinational environments is preferred.
