Financial Aid Manager

Student and Partner Services

• Provide clear guidance on aid options, eligibility, deadlines, documentation, and student responsibilities.
• Develop financial literacy resources and manage communications, information sessions, workshops, portals, and outreach.
• Coordinate with government agencies, scholarship organizations, banks, sponsors, donors, and external providers.
• Maintain service standards, response times, quality requirements, and escalation procedures.

People and Systems

• Recruit, train, coach, schedule, supervise, and evaluate financial aid advisors, administrators, coordinators, and support staff.
• Use financial aid, student-information, CRM, document-management, and reporting systems to improve operations.
• Monitor integrations, data accuracy, workflow performance, access controls, dashboards, and reporting.

Planning and Improvement

• Monitor budgets, forecasts, funding plans, resource requirements, utilization, variance, and restricted funds.
• Prepare management reports and recommendations on affordability, funding allocation, compliance, service, and operational risk.
• Lead quality reviews, benchmarking, automation, digital self-service, analytics, process improvement, and contingency planning.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience in financial aid, higher education administration, student financial services, scholarships, grants, student accounts, or related environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial aid administration and student funding programs.
• Experience with eligibility, award calculations, disbursement, reconciliation, financial controls, audits, and compliance.
• Experience managing financial aid systems, student-information systems, CRM platforms, reporting tools, budgets, forecasts, and teams.
• Strong advising, customer service, problem-solving, organization, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
