Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day financial accounting operations and month end/year end closing activities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and applicable regulations
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of internal controls and accounting policies
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements
- Review reconciliations and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts
- Contribute to process improvements and ERP system optimization (SAP preferred)
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members within the accounting function
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or ACA) is required or in progress
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or reporting
- Experience in Manufacturing, Cable industry, or Big Four audit firms is preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Experience working within an ERP environment, preferably SAP
