Overview
Gateworth Group is recruiting a Financial Accountant for an education services client’s centralized finance team.
The role supports a Financial Manager and owns financial reporting, accounts finalization, reconciliations, and audit-related controls and processes.
Compensation
- Compensation is AED 15,000 to AED 18,000 plus statutory benefits.
Location
- The role is located in Dubai, UAE.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements covering profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Manage the month-end closing process and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS or GAAP and relevant VAT and corporate tax regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare documentation for statutory audits.
- Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Maintain the general ledger and fixed asset registers for performance reporting and KPI analysis.
