Job Purpose
Provide specialized financial analysis, advisory, and technical support to a Dubai Government entity.
Contribute to revenue generation, collection efficiency, financial performance, and compliance with government policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and studies related to revenues, fees, financial claims, and collection performance.
- Analyze revenue streams and identify opportunities to improve revenue generation and collection efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, laws, and government regulations.
- Prepare financial reports, statistical analyses, and recommendations to support management decisions.
- Coordinate with government entities and internal stakeholders to resolve financial claims and facilitate revenue recovery.
- Provide technical financial guidance and advisory support to departmental units.
- Improve financial systems, processes, controls, and revenue collection procedures.
- Identify financial risks, irregularities, and process gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support financial training and knowledge development with relevant teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information under government requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in financial analysis, revenue management, financial reporting, or government finance is preferred.
- CFA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is advantageous.
