- Prepare food in large quantities with proper storage and transportation for catering events
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and well organized food preparation areas
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Maintain inventory of catering equipment and ensure necessary tools are available
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on proper cooking procedures and safety protocols
- Prepare menus and use standardized recipes
- Oversee proper handling, packaging, and storage of foodstuff and ensure stock rotation procedures

Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Filipino Cook / Chef to join our catering team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Filipino cuisine and will be responsible for preparing a variety of traditional Filipino dishes. The Filipino Cook will work closely with the catering team to ensure the time
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning, preparation and presentation of a wide range of traditional Filipino dishes to the required standards of quality, in line with client and company requirements while attaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Collaborate with the catering manager or clients to develop customized Filipino menus based on event themes, dietary preferences, and customer needs.
- Prepare food in large quantities, taking into account proper storage and transportation requirements for catering events.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and well organized before, during, and after the activities.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations (e.g., proper food storage, handling, and cooking techniques).
- Maintain an inventory of catering equipment and ensure all necessary tools are available for food preparation and service.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff or assistants, ensuring they follow proper cooking procedures and safety protocols.
- Prepare menus and use standardized recipes.
- Oversee proper handling, packaging and storage of foodstuff and ensure the stock rotation procedures are maintained.
