Field systems engineering role supporting substation and pump station automation assessments.
The work includes site surveys, field data capture, system assessment, and inputs to architecture and adaptation scope.
Job Description
- Lead site surveys.
- Capture field device and configuration data.
- Assess protocol support, obsolescence, and adaptation needs for dual-LDC operations.
- Visit substations and pump stations.
- Assess WAMS, PQA, WMS, and EDL systems.
- Provide inputs to architecture and adaptation scope.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience with substation automation, RTUs, IEDs, recorders, and WAMS/PQA.
- Experience on a transmission automation upgrade project.
