Field Support Engineer

🔍 System Supervision & Monitoring

• Perform daily monitoring of system infrastructure, radio equipment, hardware, and software applications
• Conduct initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical issues (hardware/software)
• Identify complex issues and escalate to back-office engineering teams with clear technical details, logs, and analysis
• Coordinate closely with customers and remote support teams to ensure continuous system availability

🛠️ Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities (hardware replacement, system updates, etc.)
• Apply software updates following defined procedures and maintenance playbooks
• Support Linux-based environments and execute automation tasks using tools such as Ansible

📄 Technical Support & Documentation

• Produce clear and structured incident and maintenance reports
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and interventions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and technical manuals
• Provide on-site technical support to customers
• 🎯 Profile Requirements

Experience

• 3+ years in field support, technical support, or customer-facing engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with IT systems, electronic equipment, or radio communication systems
• Experience in defense, critical infrastructure, or secure environments is highly preferred
• Exposure to system integration and testing is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Linux-based systems
• Understanding of radio communication principles
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, routing, connectivity troubleshooting)
• Familiarity with hardware/software integration
• Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible is a plus

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent reporting and documentation capabilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Highly responsive and able to handle operational urgencies
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Languages

• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• French and Arabic are an advantage
