We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused **Barista** to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service.
The Barista will ensure a clean, welcoming environment and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly attitude
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, workstations, and seating areas
- Handle cash and process payments using POS systems
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and display items as needed
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to customers
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
